You are all that matter <3

It has been really ages since I last met up with my grandparents. I still remembered how delighted I was yesterday when I received a text from Cheryl saying that my grandparents are coming my house today. While returning home this afternoon, I was still wondering what should I say to them, or rather would we still be able to communicate. But to my utmost joy, I chatted with my grandmother a lot today. She sat beside me and watched me eat, while I held her hand and listened to her sharing about her life. Then vice versa, I watched her eat while I shared to her about my university, my backbone stuff and my health. How precious this moment is? It was as if I waited for a long long time for this.

This most heartwrenching moment was when I passed a small sum of pocket money and she started crying. This really broke my heart, seeing my grandmother, someone so precious, being touched by this by-right obliged act of mine. This shows how deprived and lack of children love and care she had over the past few years. This is so ridiculous and I feel that our whole family should feel disgraceful. I hate the fact that we are financially burdened and have house constraint which unable to accommodate the needs of my grandparents. :( Really hope that I will be able to be self sufficient soon so that I am able to support my family and bring my grandparents back home.

Nothing hurts more than seeing my two most precious grandparents suffer and what’s more failed by their very own children and grandchildren. I cannot believe how some children have the heart to treat their parents so badly, where are the gratitude and love that they have given to them once gone to? Father, I pray that You will shine your light and mercy on my grandparents, showering them with love and protection from heartaches, sufferings and health problems. Father, I pray that you will open the hearts and eyes of my aunt, uncle and cousins, teach them what is love and what is family and how to treat their parents with love and respect. Father, I also pray for my whole family that you will bless every single one of us with wisdom, health and hope and that one day I will be able to unite my family and provide for them abundantly. Father, I also pray for the relationships and bonds between me and my parents as well as grandparents that we will just be closer and kneaded with one another no matter how far we are from one another. Father, I pray that I will be more patient and more appreciative towards my parents. Father, thank you for this dream come true visit, and Father thank you for taking care of my grandparents, blessing them with good health. You are really the God that provides and never fail to bless Your children with what they asked for. Amen.

Ah ma & ah gong, I really hope that you guys will wait for me for another few more years to let me breakthrough my studies and my career and provide you with a warm and joyous family. You are my motivation and for you I will strive my best in university no matter how tough it is.

For you, the root of my family, is all that matters to me. <3

Love, dearest granddaughter Winnie

"If you can’t laugh together in bed, the chances are you are incompatible, anyway. I’d rather hear a girl laugh well than try to turn me on with long, silent, soulful, secret looks. If you can laugh with a woman, everything else falls into place."

"But she loved him so much that, when he withdrew as he had now done, it was like the warm sun going down and leaving her in chilly twilight dews. She wanted to catch him by the shoulders and hug him to her, make him realize that she was flesh and blood and not something he had read or dreamed."

Today, know that you have an important part in the body of Christ. Whether you minister in the pulpit or on the street corner, or whether you sow seed so that others can go, you are important. Don’t ever underestimate the part you play because together we are building His kingdom.
